Raks Sharqi (bellydance) is a highly respected, sophisticated art form with a long history of tradition, and high aesthetic standards.  The dance is well over 3,000 years old and celebrates a woman’s body as it ages – a welcome change! It reaffirms women’s femininity, freedom and self-esteem.

In class you will build up the strength of your back muscles & increase the suppleness of your spine.  You will learn to isolate the movements of various body parts, you will learn shimmy techniques and rhythm training – all while using different parts of the body in complex, delicately interrelated movements and combinations!

All ages & sizes are welcome!
