Tammy has been teaching social dance for over twenty years. Originally she began at Shall We Dance in both Toms River and Sea Girt, NJ and eventually became the Founder and Director of You Should Be Dancing…! in 1999. Tammy specializes in Ballroom, Swing and Latin dances with an emphasis on “having fun”. Tammy has prepared hundreds of couples for that most important wedding dance. She enjoys helping the engaged couple choose the perfect wedding song as well as customizing the perfect dance routine. “The freedom and self expression from dance is it’s own reward. It’s romantic, makes you feel good and a great way to build self esteem.”

Marketing & Communications

Dee has been working behind the scenes in the dance studio business for over 20 years. First starting off as a part-time receptionist at Dance Manhattan, she worked her way up learning about client service, project management, and all the in-betweens that it takes to run a dance business. Having met some of the top names in the business, she naturally developed a love for being surrounded by the arts and creativity.

In 2014, after the closedown of Dance Manhattan, she joined the YSBD…! team. Since then she has been able to keep the same motivation and enthusiasm in building and creating the best dance experience for the NYC community.
